With a few simple steps, you can be listening to Steamboat Pilot & Today news each weekday morning on your Amazon Alexa or Google Home smart speaker. Updates also will be available on Apple Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Spotify and Google Play.

  • To listen to Steamboat news, say: “Alexa, open Steamboat Pilot” or “Alexa, what’s the latest from Steamboat Pilot?”

Add Steamboat news to your Flash Briefing:

  • Go to settings on your Amazon Alexa app, select Flash Briefing, search for Steamboat Pilot, select Steamboat Pilot Briefing and click Enable.
  • To listen to Flash Briefing, say: "Alexa, what's in the news?" or "Alexa, what's my Flash Briefing?"
  • To hear Steamboat news first, go to settings on your Amazon Alexa app, select Flash Briefing, select Edit Order and move Steamboat Pilot to the top of your list.

Google Home

  • Go to menu  on your Google Home app, select More Settings, select News, select Add News Sources and check the box next to Steamboat Pilot, which can be found under local news.
  • To listen to Steamboat news, say: “OK Google, open Steamboat Pilot”
  • To listen to all your default news providers, say: “OK Google, catch me up” or "OK Google, listen to news.”
  • To hear Steamboat news first, go to menu  on your Google Home app, select More Settings, select News, select Change Order and move Steamboat Pilot to the top of your list.
