Shelby Reardon

Shelby Reardon joined the staff in July 2019 after working for two years at The Dickinson Press in North Dakota. There, she covered NAIA athletics and prep sports, including the nationally-ranked Dickinson State football team. She was part of a staff that earned the North Dakota Newspaper Association General Excellence Award two years in a row and she picked up a second-place award for a sports column in 2019.

Originally from southern Vermont, she earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Boston University. While there, she wrote about the NCAA Div. I men’s and women’s hockey programs.

She’s a wicked Boston sports fan, rooting for the Bruins, the Red Sox and the widely-adored New England Patriots. Oddly, she’s also a big Dallas Stars and Dallas Cowboys fan. When not covering or watching sports, Shelby is probably walking her dogs Dallas and Desmond, hiking, or running.
