Kari Dequine Harden

Kari Dequine Harden covers health and education for the Steamboat Pilot & Today. She graduated from the University of Oregon in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science. Kari grew up in the Roaring Fork Valley and recently returned to Colorado after living for 12 years in New Orleans, where she wrote for The Times-Picayune, The Advocate, Louisiana Weekly and The Plaquemines Gazette. Kari lives in South Routt and enjoys hiking with her dogs, food, music, snowshoeing and ice hockey.
