Steamboat school board: Your questions will be answered

You have questions and so do we. Planning to build a new school facility in Steamboat is a complex process — one that involves local and state governmental agencies as well as a variety of studies that will help us understand impact on our community and ensure the health and safety of our students.

We want you to know that we see the questions you have submitted through your letters to the editor. Answers will be forthcoming. Traffic studies and infrastructure pricing are underway as is a voter poll and third-party demographic study that will provide future enrollment projections.

All of this information will be shared with the community on our website — https://buildingforthefuture.ssk12.org/ — and presented in public forums that will be held this spring.

We would like to take this opportunity to share the public forum schedule with you and encourage you to attend. In the meantime, your patience is appreciated. Please be assured that we are in the process of gathering information and plan to share it with you as it becomes available.
