Letter: Steamboat community can lift people up during difficult times

The true nature of a community is felt by the way friends and neighbors take care of each other during troubled times. We have suffered through months of difficult times due to physical issues and have come out the other side stronger due to the love, prayers and support of the Steamboat community.

People we know from Har Mishpacha Jewish Congregation, the mah-jongg league, Strings Music Festival and others groups with whom we have been affiliated during our years in Steamboat and people we don’t know have sent enough love and good wishes to help us through this difficult time in our lives.

For this support, we thank the loving and caring Steamboat community for their generosity of food, love, prayers and caring. With deepest love to all from Susan and Bert.
