Kate Nowak: Thank you community

— Hosting the Community Thanksgiving Dinner has been a long tradition for Routt County United Way.

This is the first year (as far as we know) that we were fortunate enough to have plenty of food for all attendees for the duration of the event. It is also the first year that we served more than 800 community residents (812 to be exact).

We owe a big thanks to our community of volunteers and donors; this year, we had more than 154 volunteers and more than 134 people who contributed delicious homemade food. Without you, this heartwarming community event would not be possible.

On behalf of my board and staff, we would like to extend great thanks to the entire community of volunteers for producing such a warm-hearted, spirit-lifting, tummy-filling event. We truly live united in Routt County.
