Zetzman wins at Big Mountain event
Steamboat Springs — Bryce Zetzman led the way for one of the newest teams in the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, winning the 12-14 boys division of the International Freeskiers and Snowboards Association Big Mountain event in Winter Park last weekend.
Coach Jon Dean said Zetzman laid down a fearless run.
“He attacked the very steep Awe Chute with confidence and then sent back-to-back 20-foot rock drops with ease,” Dean said. “He popped a celebratory 360 entering the finish fence.”
