Youths given scholarships

More than $4,500 in scholarships was awarded to Steamboat Springs youths interested in studying dance, theater and musical theater.

How they use the money will vary. Students can sign up for individual classes or use it toward tuition for a summer-long intensive program. This year, Perry-Mansfield musical theater students will perform “Grease.” Other theater productions include “Picasso at the La Pin Agile and “The Children’s Hour.”
