Young Professionals Network offers new scholarship opportunity for members

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Steamboat Springs Young Professionals Network will offer a new scholarship program to help its members offset the financial costs of professional development and continuing-education opportunities.

The scholarship will be offered twice a year: once in the fall and again in the spring. Current YPN members are invited to apply, and recipients will be selected based on financial need, length of membership status with YPN, the amount of funding requested as well as available funding.

“As an organization that is committed to building a better community through the development of leaders, we are excited to offer this opportunity to our members,” YPN board chair Kendall Yeager was quoted as saying in a news release. “We hope to continue to add value to our membership by creating pathways to success and helping to mold the next generation of leaders in Routt County.”

Interested applicants can contact Yeager at 970-819-2554 or kendall.b.yeager@gmail.com for more information on how to apply. The fall deadline is Oct. 31.
