Authorities identify Steamboat woman killed in Sunday wreck on US 40

A crash Sunday on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 126 west of Steamboat Springs resulted in the death of a Steamboat woman.

According to Routt County Coroner Mitch Locke, Emily Dealy of Steamboat Springs died in the wreck on U.S. 40 on Sunday.

A Colorado State Patrol spokesperson said the wreck involved two vehicles — a Ford F150 and a Ford F250. The spokesperson said the driver of one of the pickups sustained serious injuries, while the driver of the second pickup sustained minor injuries and a passenger died at the scene.



The crash was reported at mile marker 126 on U.S. 40 between Steamboat and Milner at about 12:15 p.m. Sunday. The wreck is still under investigation. The highway reopened at about 5:30 p.m.
