Worldwide Photo Walk planned for Oct. 6 in Steamboat

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — The Steamboat Springs edition of the annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6. Participants will meet at the parking lot of the Bud Werner Memorial Library.

On the first Saturday of October each year, photographers from around the world get out their cameras and meet up at a designated location in their town to walk around and take photographs, socialize, make new friends, win prizes and be a part of a great cause.

The Worldwide Photo Walk supports The Springs of Hope Kenya Orphanage, an organization that feeds, houses, educates and empowers young orphans. Those who participate in the photo walk are encouraged to donate. The local event is coordinated by Steamboat resident Roger Good.
