Women United presents ‘The Talk’ on March 27
Women United, an arm of United Way of the Yampa Valley, is hosting a free lunch presentation called “The Talk You’ll Never Regret Having” from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. March 27.
The event will take place in Library Hall at the Bud Werner Library in Steamboat Springs.
The talk, presented by staff from nonprofit Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide, will cover how residents can “learn how to be the friend, neighbor or parent someone needs” — especially when concerns with suicidal ideation are involved.
Themes of the lunch presentation are that “no one should struggle alone” and “together we can build a stronger, more connected community.” The presentation will be followed by a Resource Expo with multiple agencies from 1-1:30 p.m.
