Women United hosting free class Thursday on Understanding Personal Insurance

The Women United group of the United Way of the Yampa Valley is hosting a free Understanding Personal Insurance class scheduled for 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday at Bristol Hall room 204 at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs.

The free class will cover common questions about home, auto, life and liability insurance so that people can choose the right insurance options for their situations. The class will be taught by two local professionals in the field, Teresa Weinman and Lisa Lancaster. The class will cover insurance changes in Colorado, having the right protection, how insurance protects income and assets, and understanding common insurance terms.
