Woman yells and screams after being left behind at fast food restaurant: The Record for Aug. 24, 2017
Thursday, Aug. 24
1:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraudulent activity in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. A woman received a phone call from someone who said they were the woman’s grandchild. The woman knew she didn’t have any grandchildren, so she hung up.
7:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at Fish Creek Falls Road and Tamarack Drive. Someone saw a minivan with its hazard lights on, and a woman holding a baby walking down the street. The caller thought this was weird. The woman and the minivan were gone when officers arrived.
8:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a fast food restaurant in the 600 block of Snapdragon Way. A woman was screaming and yelling because the group of other Rainbow Family members she was riding with had left without her and she had items in the vehicle. Police determined her group had just driven across the street to Central Park Plaza and weren’t intending to leave the woman.
