WinterWonderGrass ‘Steamboat Unplugged’ event to benefit 2 nonprofits

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Rocky Mountain Youth Corps and Partners in Routt County will host Steamboat Unplugged, an exclusive WinterWonderGrass event this month.

The concert and culinary celebration will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the private Ludwick residence. The event will feature The Avenhart Band with musical guests Bridget Law and Scotty Stoughton.

There are a limited number of tickets available, which will keep the conversations lively and the performances intimate. In its third year, Steamboat Unplugged will donate all proceeds to Partners in Routt County and Rocky Mountain Youth Corps.

The WinterWonderGrass Festival in Steamboat kicks off with a free concert by Love Canon and Buffalo Commons from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in Gondola Square at Steamboat Resort and will continue for three days and nights, Feb. 22 to Feb. 24, with more than 25 bands performing on four stages.

Headlining artists include Trampled by Turtles, Railroad Earth and The Infamous Stringdusters. Additional artists include Jeff Austin Band, Fruition, The California Honeydrops, The Lil Smokies, Billy Strings, The Shook Twins, Lindsay Lou, Love Canon and River Whyless.
