Moseby and Weaver

Michael Jack Moseby and Rebecca Sage Weaver surprised their parents, Pat and Patti Moseby and Mona Weaver with a beautiful outdoor wedding at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 15, 2001.

The lovely ceremony took place at the park in Steamboat Springs. The groom wearing a tuxedo walked across the bridge and waited for his bride who was wearing a long white satin gown with a beaded bodice to join him. She wore her great grandmother’s pearls around her neck.

In a grassy clearing the couple joined the minister and surprised parents. Michael and Rebecca exchanged vows while facing each other as the Yampa River flowed beside them.

Pat Moseby playing the guitar and singing with his wife, Patti, provided the music, “Never Ending.” Pat and his daughter, Mishel, wrote the song earlier in the summer.

After the exchange of rings, everyone in the park applauded the union.

The bride was presented with a diamond pendant from her new mother-in-law. Rebecca is the fourth-generation Mosbey wife to receive the pendant.

The wedding party enjoyed a delightful dinner and evening of sharing at Antares in Steamboat.

The couple will reside on their property north of Hayden. Michael and Rebecca are planning a barbecue at their home for family and friends next summer.
