Todd Lodwick, the son of Dennis and Jeanie Lodwick, and Sunny Owens, the daughter of Drs. Ed and Carol Owens of Jackson, Wy., were married April 21, 2001, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Steamboat Springs. The Rev. Franklin Johnson officiated.

The maid of honor was Gusty Swift of Jackson, and the best man was the groom’s brother, Kris Lodwick of Steamboat Springs. The bridesmaids were Katie Howell and Jessica Kortas of Steamboat Springs, Chelsea Curcio of New York, Sunny’s sister, Summer Owens of Jackson, and her sister-in-law, Melissa Owens of Dallas.

The groom’s brothers, Scott and Eric of Steamboat Springs and Park City, were groomsmen along with A.J. Kitt of Hood River, Ore., T.J. Thrasher of Steamboat Springs and Shannon Owens of Dallas.

The flower girl was Ariel Treadway of Steamboat Springs and the ring bearer was Mason Owens of Denver.

The reception was held at Storm Mountain Ranch. The couple honeymooned at a Club Med on San Salvador Island.

They are residing in Colorado, where the bride will study dentistry at the University of Colorado Health Center and the groom will continue to train and compete as a nordic combined Olympic athlete.
