Volunteers needed for 2025 Winter Carnival Street Events
For 112 years the Winter Carnival Street Events have been a highlight of February in Steamboat Springs and organizers of the events are seeking individuals from the community who want to be a part of the legacy.
The event, which will take place Feb. 8-9 on Lincoln Ave., relies on volunteers to help with setup, tear down, guiding participants, managing crowds, assisting with registration, and ensuring the event area is clean and organized.
“From ski-jumping kids being pulled by horses to shovel races and crowd-pleasing stunts, this historic event showcases the heart of our winter-loving community,” Olympia von Berg, who is helping organize volunteers for the events, wrote. “Volunteers play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly, and their efforts help make this beloved celebration possible.”
Volunteers will enjoy perks like coffee, breakfast burritos, and the chance to be part of this iconic community celebration. If you’re interested in volunteering, please sign up at SignUp.com/go/pkiOxXS or contact Olympia at olympiavb@gmail.com – 720-416-4406 for more information.
