VIDEO: Regular season basketball comes to a close, wrestling heads to regionals

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — In the last week of regular season basketball, Steamboat Springs High School will travel to Eagle Valley, then host Summit on Saturday. Soroco High SChool will also be on the road this Friday, preparing for Tuesday’s district playoff game. It will be the first time in three years that the Soroco boys have made a postseason appearance. All wrestling teams are competing in regional tournaments this week, which will determine who will go to the state tournament next week. Steamboat’s Alpine ski team will have its last race before next week’s state championships in Durango. Thursday, Feb. 14 Steamboat Springs boys basketball at Eagle Valley, 7:30 p.m. Steamboat Springs girls basketball at Eagle Valley, 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 Soroco boys basketball at Vail Christian, 7:30 p.m. Soroco girls basketball at Vail Christian, 6 p.m. Hayden boys basketball vs. Meeker, 8:30 p.m. Hayden girls basketball vs. Meeker, 4 p.m. Steamboat Springs wrestling at CHSAA Regionals Class 3A Soroco and Hayden wrestling at CHSAA Regionals Class 2A Steamboat Springs Alpine Ski team at Beaver Creek Steamboat Springs hockey vs. Mountain Vista, 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 Steamboat Springs boys basketball vs. Summit, 3:30 p.m. Steamboat Springs girls basketball vs. Summit, 2 p.m. Steamboat Springs wrestling at CHSAA Regionals Class 3A Soroco and Hayden wrestling at CHSAA Regionals Class 2A
