Upset dog walker: The Record for Wednesday, May 30, 2018

9:21 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a theft at a mobile home park in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

2:09 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an intoxicated male spotted walking on the roadway near Hilltop Parkway and south Lincoln Avenue. The man was given a ride home.

3 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear digging in garbage cans in the 1100 block of Walton Creek Road. The officers did not find the bear upon arrival.

1:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of moose spotted in the lawn near Walton Creek Road and south Lincoln Avenue.

4:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of someone dumping a couch on the side of the road near the 2200 block of Bear Drive. When the officers arrived the person could not be found.

10:48 p.m. Officers were called by a dog walker who reported someone yelling at them in the 800 block of Morgan Court. The main reason for calling was because the dog walker didn’t like getting yelled at by the other party. A report was taken by the officers.
