U.S. Ski and Snowboard announced the 16 athletes who will represent the U.S. at the 2025 FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships, three of which hail from Steamboat Springs. 

Jeremy Nolting, Logan Grosdidier and Tatum Grosdider have all earned selection. Nolting and Logan actively train with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports club while Tatum is an SSWSC alum who skis for the U.S. Ski Team. 

Both Grosdiders and Nolting earned their spots through results in NorAm ski races. Most recently, Nolting earned multiple top-10 finishes at a NorAm in Canada while Logan took 5th and 7th in the women’s super-G races. Tatum was 4th in giant slalom and took home a podium place, third, in super-G.

“Team members for this year’s Junior World Championship represent an exceptional cohort of athletes who have already made a significant impact at the NorAm level early in their careers,” said Chip Knight, Alpine Development Director of the U.S. Ski Team in a news release. “With a mix of seasoned athletes and promising newcomers, we are confident this team will deliver impressive individual and team performances for the U.S.”

The 2025 Alpine Junior World Championships are held in Tarvisio, Italy, from Feb. 25-March 6. The competitions includes the Alpine combined event in addition to a mixed team event, downhill, super-G, giant slalom and slalom races for both men and women.
