Travis Bryant in as new Steamboat wrestling coach

— Travis Bryant will step in to take over the Steamboat Springs High School wrestling program, Steamboat athletic director Luke DeWolfe announced Monday.

Bryant will replace Shane Yeager, who announced he was stepping down in the spring. Bryant isn’t new to coaching wrestling in Steamboat Springs, helping to guide both the high school and middle school teams since moving to town seven years ago. He wrestled while growing up in Eagle Valley and then at Western State College in Gunnison. He’s been coaching for more than 20 years.
