Town Challenge set to return

— The Town Challenge Mountain Bike Race Series returns to Emerald Mountain on Wednesday after a long, weather-induced break from riding.

The Geronimo Glory XC race begins at 5:25 p.m. with children’s’ divisions. The Youth 13-15 division and novice divisions begin at 6 p.m., while the pro/open, expert and singlespeed divisions start between 6:10 and 6:15. The sport divisions and youth 16-18 class run from 6:17 to 6:21.

The race will begin next to Olympian Hall at Howelsen Hill. The course will be 12.85 miles for the pro/open, expert and singlespeed riders, 11.7 for the sport classifications and 3.5 miles for novice divisions.



Registration is available onsite for $35, and the post-race party is at Creekside Cafe.
