Tigers volleyball dropped in straight games in Wyoming

Ben Ingersoll

— A trip across the Colorado-Wyoming border didn’t go as planned for the Hayden High School volleyball team.

The Tigers were dropped by Little Snake River, of Baggs, Wyo., in straight games, 25-10, 25-19, 25-18.

Trying out a new rotation for the first time this season, coach Christene Planansky said the girls weren’t into the match mentally. Taking the loss on herself for the rotation decision, Planansky said jitters also played a huge factor.

“It didn’t go very well,” Planansky said. “I don’t know what was going on. I think they were letting their brains do the interfering more than anything else.”

The Tigers will look to rebound during Saturday’s match against West Grand.
