The list of country music stars scheduled to play intimate concerts at Three Forks Ranch, located in far northern Routt County straddling the Wyoming border, represents a who’s who of talent ranging from Wynonna Judd to Chris Young to Martina McBride.

The newly created Live Concert Series will take place in the Great Room at the 35,000-square-foot lodge and will include an artist meet-and-greet for the lucky guests who book a minimum three-night package at the posh ranch resort.

The concert series kicks off Dec. 26-27 with Chris Young, followed in January by Brothers Osborne and Lee Brice. Other performers booked so far include Sarah Evans, Gary LeVox and Joe Nichols in February; Martina McBride, Mark Chesnutt and Rhett Akins in March; and Mark Wills, Chris Lane and Wynonna in April. An Amy Grant concert scheduled in June is sold out, with the full lineup listed on the concert series website at ThreeForksRanch.com/promotions.html.

Guests who book a three-, four- or seven-night all-inclusive stay at the 200,000-acre ranch 40 miles north of Steamboat Springs will be able to enjoy the small-venue shows, with live concerts designed for 54 in-house guests. All-inclusive packages at the Mayo Clinic-certified resort start at $3,000 per night per person and include the concert, lodging, dining, beverages, recreation activities and spa treatments.

Three Forks Ranch concert spokesperson Delaney Pluta said the new concert series will average two performances per month starting just after Christmas and continuing throughout 2024. Pluta said Steamboat residents are part of the clientele who book at the ranch that includes winter activities such as snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snow tubing, healthy cooking classes, fitness classes, wellness coaching and fine dining.

“Pair Colorado’s best private cat skiing, unrivaled fly fishing on North America’s finest trout stream and a Mayo Clinic partnership unique to Three Forks, and we wanted to add this series to make our location even more special,” Pluta said.

As for the inspiration for the exclusive concert series, Pluta said resort owner David Pratt “really just wanted to bring music and offer something completely intimate and unique to our existing and new guests.”

Pluta said music offerings at the resort in the past have included Routt County bands for several weeks in the summertime such as the duo Chamberlain Birch and soul grass band Buffalo Commons.

“But we have never advertised music; it was more of a nice surprise for our guests,” Pluta said.

The Three Forks Ranch website notes the location sports a private ski mountain with 1,000 skiable vertical feet and a 6,000-square-foot spa. The ranch includes a working cattle operation with the Little Snake River running through the property. The ranch has been owned by Pratt, a minority owner of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, since 1999, and includes some 50,000 acres in Colorado and 150,000 acres in Wyoming.
