They’re not all strays

Anyone who loses a pet knows how tough it is. My cat recently disappeared, and because she is not a wanderer, she has either lost her life, or someone picked her up for their own.

I would urge anyone who finds an animal to call animal control. Don’t assume the animal is a stray. Especially with cats; it’s hard to keep a collar on them. If no one claims the animal, then by all means adopt it and give it a home. There are plenty of animals that need to be adopted. To take one that already has a home is traumatic for the animal and the owner.
