Police, fire and ambulance calls

3:46 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza. A customer at a convenience store said the lights were on, but the doors were locked. The employee had locked the doors while working in the coolers.

7:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an illegally parked car on Soda Ridge Way. A citation was issued.



8:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of bears getting into trash in the 700 block of North Grand Street.

1:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a thrift store in the 2100 block of Curve Court. A customer was causing the disturbance and was put on a bus headed out of town.



2 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to report an Internet scam.

6:04 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a possible house fire in the 400 block of Dabney Lane. Smoke was filling the kitchen, and it appeared to be coming from the back of the stove. There was no active fire, and it was suspected to have possibly been a grease fire.

11:18 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 200 block of Roselawn Avenue.
