Police, fire and ambulance calls
4:11 a.m. A Steamboat Springs Police Department officer at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue heard what sounded like an explosion. After talking with snowmakers at Howelsen Hill, it was thought that the sound could have come from a malfunctioning piece of snowmaking equipment.
8:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a roommate dispute in the 900 block of Confluence Court.
10:12 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person having an allergic reaction in the 100 block of East Oak Street.
10:50 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient man possibly sleeping in a truck in the 1600 block of Shield Drive. He was told to get his things and not return to the property.
11:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a skateboard at the Central Park Plaza bus stop.
12:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man with a blue jacket and black backpack who was standing in the street at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street and yelling at cars. He could not be located.
12:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an aggressive driver at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street. The driver was contacted and given a verbal warning.
3:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an unattended car that rolled into another car at 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue. There was no damage.
4:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who was speeding at Loggers Lane and Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be located.
4:34 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a person who wanted to know if it was legal for their neighbor to have a cannon in their yard at Catamount.
8 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 200 block of Moffat Avenue.
8:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a roommate dispute in the 1100 block of Pine Street.
9:01 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fainted at Colorado Mountain College.
9:11 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a car that hit a retaining wall at Routt County Road 14 and Mount Werner Road. There were no vehicles in the area when deputies arrived.
10:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle. Three males were seen wandering around a condo complex. They were construction workers doing work at the property.
11:15 p.m. Officers were called to help with a drunken man who had been cut off at a bar and would not leave in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
