Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:18 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers helped bar staff in the 700 block of Yampa Street with a man who got upset when staff told him he was too drunk to come into the bar. The man tried to kick the door, and then he left the area.

8:08 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a woman in the 1500 block of Conestoga Drive. She was fine.

9:11 a.m. Officers were called to help a property owner identify the owners of cars parked at a closed convenience store in the 1800 block of Kamar Plaza.

9:56 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of computer equipment missing from a property in the 43600 block of Routt County Road 36.

10:50 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with CPR being performed on a person at a nursing home in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.

11:16 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who was weaving and almost hit a pedestrian at Cherry and Tamarack drives.

1:16 p.m. A driver’s license found at Yampa and Seventh streets was turned in to police.

1:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a business in the 2500 block of Copper Ridge Drive. A man became upset when cars were blocking his storage unit. Officers documented the incident.

2:24 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 40500 block of Steamboat Drive.

2:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient man misbehaving at Bud Werner Memorial Library. He was told not to return to the library.

3:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a road rage incident on South Lincoln Avenue. A driver became upset because the driver in front of him did not start driving when a light turned green. The driver then reportedly almost ran the driver off the road. Officers contacted the driver, and a citation was issued for careless driving.

4:34 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having chest pain in the 40200 block of Riverbend Trail.

4:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car speeding through a neighborhood downtown.

6:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a Honda Accord cutting drivers off at Anglers Drive and South Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be located.

8:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that was rear-ended in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A 26-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, careless driving and no proof of insurance.

11:32 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having an unknown medical problem in the 31800 block of Bradley Ranch.
