Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:35 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of teenagers who had not come home after going to the movies.
5:52 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car parked at the end of Laurel Lane.
8:17 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man sleeping on hotel property in the 2300 block of Mount Werner Road. He was arrested Thursday because he had warrants.
8:54 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two garbage trucks that ran a stop sign and almost hit a cyclist.
11:21 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a handgun stolen from a car in the 1100 block of Saratoga Avenue.
12:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti on rocks near Bud Werner Memorial Library.
2:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an employee who found a small bag with a substance at a convenience store in the first block of Anglers Drive. It tested positive for THC.
3:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a kids bikes found at Lincoln Avenue and County Shop Road.
4:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an elk attacked by a dog on Emerald Mountain. It was actually a bear that attacked the elk.
4:49 p.m. Officers were called to check on a small child outside Centennial Hall. The parents were located.
4:58 p.m. Officers received an anonymous tip about a doctor issuing medical marijuana cards at a hotel in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Nothing illegal was occurring.
5:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of three males skateboarding on hotel property in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. They left in a pickup and could not be located.
7:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a truck blasting loud rap music with lots of curse words in the 1800 block of Lagoon Court. The person who called thought it was inappropriate for kids in the area.
8:13 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to a report of a sick person in the 23300 block of Blue Valley Lane.
9:21 p.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 2000 block of Clubhouse Drive.
10:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 1600 block of Shadow Run Court.
10:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of neighbors talking loudly and drinking in the 2900 block of West Acres Drive. They were given a warning.
11:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people yelling, talking loudly and banging metal poles in the hot tub area in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Frontage.
11:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person loitering and staring at a convenience store in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza.
11:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music and younger kids smoking pot in the first block of Park Place.
