Police, fire and ambulance calls

1:42 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear at a parking lot in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane.

2:26 a.m. Officers were called to a report of fireworks in the first block of Spruce Street.



4:43 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 1700 block of Ranch Road.

10:59 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The person was fine.



12:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of missing money from a room at a hotel that is being used for long-term housing in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.

12:52 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 24400 block of Routt County Road 14.

1:22 p.m. Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were called to help a woman who broke her ankle while hiking on the Fish Creek trail.

2:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person drinking alcohol while driving at Lincoln Avenue and 12th Street. The driver could not be located.

3:25 p.m. Yampa Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick woman in the 100 block of Moffat Avenue.

3:48 p.m. Officers were called to a report of construction equipment stolen from the Meadows parking lot.

3:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person causing a disturbance at a grocery store in the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person receiving harassing text messages in the 3600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

6:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cyclist riding against traffic at Hilltop Parkway and South Lincoln Avenue.

7:38 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person receiving unwanted phone calls.

9 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a burglary in the 36800 block of Tree Haus Drive. The Sheriff’s Office would not release additional information.

10:44 p.m. Oak Creek firefighters were called to help a person who was having difficulty breathing in the 100 block of Main Street.
