Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a loud party with 20 to 30 people in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle.
5:14 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was leaving for work and found a woman sleeping in his car in the 300 block of 12th Street. The woman was in town for a wedding, had too much to drink and decided to sleep in the car. The owner of the car did not want to pursue charges against the woman.
8:36 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a person who said there was smoke in the inside of their car at Fish Creek Falls Road and Harwig Circle. It was suspected the smoke came from the car’s electrical system.
8:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment involving several juveniles at Soda Creek Elementary School.
12:43 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with an elevator emergency in the 1500 block of Pine Grove Road.
1:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car blocking a bus stop in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
2:15 p.m. Officers were called to a report of young male tubers who could not get out of the Yampa River downtown. They made it out.
2:53 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wallet at a grocery store in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
7:31 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people being loud at a pool in the 2700 block of Eagleridge Drive. They were told to be quiet.
7:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of several tenants arguing in the 2700 block of Cross Timbers Trail.
10:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a fight at a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A woman reported having her hat taken by several men. She went after the men, knocked one of them down and got her hat back. The men then reportedly hit the woman. She did not have serious injuries, and police were trying to find the men involved.
10:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who found their stolen bike locked up in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. The lock was cut, and the bike was given back to the owner.
10:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of people being loud in the 1300 block of Hilltop Parkway. A warning was given.
11:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of kids running in the hallways and knocking on doors in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way.
11:35 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud home theater system in the 3300 block of Columbine Drive. A warning was given.
