Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken driver at Routt County Road 14 and Mount Werner Road. The driver was contacted, and it was discovered the driver was distracted by the new Pokemon Go cell phone application.

1:27 p.m. North Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to investigate smoke near mile marker two on Routt County Road 64A.



3:30 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fainted at the post office.

4:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wallet near Mount Werner Circle.



4:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that turned in front of another car and almost caused an accident at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

11:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear near a building in the 600 block of Tamarack Drive. It was gone when officers arrived.

11:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear trying to get into trash in the 1900 block of Cornice Road.
