Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:21 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people being loud in the 2200 block of Storm Meadows Drive, and the people making the noise were not being cooperative. A warning was given.

12:26 a.m. Officers contacted a man who was seen throwing a beer bottle into the air at Mount Werner Circle and Ski Time Square Drive. The man was told to stop and pick up the bottle.



1:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man wearing fatigues who was laying on the concrete at the Ninth Street bus stop.

4:50 a.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 200 block of South First Street.



9:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a restaurant in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man was upset about ice in front of the restaurant. On Nov. 30, the man yelled and acted belligerent inside the restaurant because he was upset about slipping on the ice. Police told the man not to return to the restaurant.

9:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two bags of trash illegally put into a dumpster in the 200 block of Anglers Drive.

10:45 a.m. Officers wrote a warning for trash cans being left out overnight in the 1700 block of Cornice Road.

12:07 p.m. Officers wrote a warning for trash cans being left out overnight in the 2000 block of Walton Creek Road.

12:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1300 block of Athens Plaza who had unauthorized charges on their credit card.

1:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a tour bus blocking a road in the 1900 block of Cornice Road. A parking ticket was issued.

1:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a golf club found in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:52 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help someone who fell at Steamboat Springs Middle School.

2:56 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.

5:01 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 600 block of Yampa Street. A woman stayed the night at a friend’s house, and credit cards, cash and prescription drugs were stolen from her bag.

6 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man stumbling around and falling onto cars in the 700 block of Marketplace Plaza. The man was found sitting in a car. He was given a ride home.

6:25 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem at the music tent.

7:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man passed out at the Gondola Transit Center. He was gone when officers arrived.

8:10 p.m. West Routt firefighters were called to help a person having difficulty breathing in the 200 block of South Second Street.

10:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of trespassing in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue. People were sleeping in the common areas. A man was told to leave.

11:26 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a malfunctioning elevator in the 2300 block of Après Ski Way.

11:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 2300 block of Ski Trail Lane. People were hollering and singing loudly to music.
