Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:21 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a wallet found at the Third Street bus stop.

4:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about noise from street sweepers. It is an ongoing issue.



7:48 a.m. A found Colorado driver’s license was turned in at the police station.

7:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of an iPhone found on Burgess Creek Road.



8:08 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fainted at Steamboat Springs High School.

8:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a road rage incident in the 700 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A woman’s car was bumped by another car, and the driver showed the woman the middle finger.

9:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a Clark resident who was overcharged at a Steamboat restaurant. It was the second time it occurred.

9:45 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wallet at a grocery store in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

11:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost an iPhone downtown.

11:44 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft at a business in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The business did inventory and discovered a couple thousand dollars worth of merchandise was missing.

1:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving recklessly at Pine Grove Road and Bangtail Way. The car was located, but the driver was not there.

2:46 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with an unknown medical problem in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

3:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person driving recklessly at Mount Werner Road and South Lincoln Avenue.

4:52 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an unconscious person in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. The person did not need to go to the hospital.

5:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a student with marijuana at Colorado Mountain College. The student had a medical marijuana card.

8:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who heard children screaming inside a recreational vehicle parked in the 1800 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Everything was fine.
