Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:07 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to help a juvenile who possibly had overdosed. The juvenile was not taken to the hospital.
3:38 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a cellphone and headphones found in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive.
7:45 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help someone with chest pain at Steamboat II.
9:11 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident at a motel in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The motel got a phone call from someone who demanded money because the utilities had not been paid. It was a scam.
10:04 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver’s license lost at Steamboat Ski Area.
12:24 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 22000 block of Val d’Isere Circle. A band was practicing.
12:40 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with trauma near mile marker 2 on Routt County Road 14.
4:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible theft involving a tax return in the 700 block of Pine Street.
4:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a business in the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue that wanted to complain about a very strong pot smell in the area that was disturbing customers. The smell was the worst in the afternoon and had been going on for months.
6:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a pedestrian who almost was hit by a black truck in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue. The truck was located, but no one was inside.
9:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a crash in the 2500 block of Riverside. A car ran into a parked car. The passenger had minor injuries. The 18-year-old female driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, DUI per se, reckless driving and minor in possession of alcohol.
10:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman in the first block of Cypress Court who was receiving harassing phone calls and text messages from a man.
11:22 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue. A drunken taxi passenger was being verbally abusive and profane. The passenger was given a ride home.
