Police, fire and ambulance calls

5:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a car alarm going off in the 300 block of Oak Street. The owner was contacted, and the alarm was turned off.

10:19 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fell from a ladder in the 2700 block of Après Ski Way.



10:51 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with back pain in the 2800 block of Owl Hoot Trail.

10:53 a.m. A person came to the police department with questions about unwanted text messages.



12:17 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a gas meter that was leaking in the 300 block of Bearview Court.

2:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who lost a purse on a bus. The purse was located.

6:32 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to investigate smoke on Thorpe Mountain.

6:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of Mountain Village Circle. A father and son were arguing. Police mediated the situation, and the son was given a ride to his mother’s house.
