Police, fire and ambulance calls

9:15 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of traffic cones stolen from the 700 block of Yampa Street.

10:15 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a student who had marijuana at Yampa Valley High School. A summons was issued.



11:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. The driver came back and paid.

1:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear that got into trash, and the trash was blowing around in the 100 block of Missouri Avenue. Police were going to contact the owner of the trash.



2:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 2200 block of Curve Plaza. It was returned to the owner.

6:17 p.m. A person came to the police department and wanted to report a sexual assault that occurred a long time ago.

6:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver in the 37600 block of Saddle Mountain Lane. The driver was contacted, and there were no signs of intoxication.

7:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a toolbox found at the Stock Bridge Transit Center.

7:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a debit card found at the post office.
