Police, fire and ambulance calls
1:10 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of people poaching a hot tub in the 500 block of Ore House Plaza.
10:54 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person who fainted at Colorado Mountain College.
1:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car stolen from a towing company in the 2100 block of Snow Bowl Plaza. Police found the car during the night in the 2100 block of Curve Plaza and later arrested the 41-year-old male driver on suspicion of theft. The man also had substances that police believed were cocaine and prescription drugs.
2:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of hallway lights damaged in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive.
3 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a firearm between Steamboat and Denver.
3:16 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a silver bracelet at the post office.
3:27 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that was headed toward the city and had passed illegally. It could not be located.
3:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a stolen car in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. The car was located before officers arrived.
4:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car blocking a lane on River Road. It was gone when officers arrived.
4:28 p.m. Officers were called to check on a man who was yelling in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. Officers were called to check on the man again at 5:03 p.m. and 5:31 p.m. He was not doing anything illegal.
5:54 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding in the 200 block of South Sharp Avenue.
7:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that was being driven all over the road at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. The driver could not be located.
8:11 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane.
9:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man in the 100 block of Mountain Village Circle. The man’s girlfriend took him inside.
9:14 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car speeding and following too closely at Hilltop Parkway and South Lincoln Avenue. It could not be located.
10:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a phone and other personal items found behind a convenience store in the 500 block of Marketplace Plaza.
