Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:20 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a person who could not sleep because a car was revving its engine for 30 minutes in the 2600 block of Après Ski Way. Someone was trying to back up a trailer.

4:29 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 400 block of Tamarack Drive.



9:48 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost a wallet in Sundance Plaza.

10:32 a.m. A found New York driver’s license was turned in at the police station.



11:51 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 300 block of Apple Drive who had unauthorized charges on a credit card.

1:15 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with a head injury in the 1400 block of Pine Grove Road.

1:42 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fainted in the 100 block of West Jefferson Avenue.

2:43 p.m. Officers were called to a report of unsecured trash at a property management company in the 1500 block of Pine Grove Road. It was an ongoing issue, and a ticket was issued.

3:58 p.m. Officers were called to a report of an accident involving a car and bicycle at the post office. A boy was riding his bike on the sidewalk and rode into a car. The boy had some scrapes, but he was not seriously injured.

5:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a road rage incident on Pamela Lane where a car sped past another car. The car could not be located.

6:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a road rage incident on Lincoln Avenue downtown where a driver flipped off another driver.

7:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of loud music in the 3100 block of Columbine Drive. No one would come to the door to speak to officers.

8:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a large bear in a dumpster in a parking garage in the 2700 block of Cross Timbers Trail.

10:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear eating out of a trash can in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. It was gone when officers arrived.

10:46 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear eating trash in a trailer doorway in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.

11:02 p.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 300 block of Ore House Plaza.
