Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a bear in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. It was scared away.
2:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of loud noise in the 300 block of Oak Street.
10:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of two people smoking marijuana in a car at Little Toots Park. The person who called said there were lots of kids in the area, and the people should find a better place to smoke.
11:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 600 block of Meadowbrook Circle.
12:21 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious camper van at Little Toots Park. It was gone when officers arrived.
5:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a $280 shirt stolen from a store in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.
7 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken driver going west from Conestoga Circle. The driver could not be located.
7:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 400 block of Oak Street.
9:21 p.m. Officers contacted a suspicious car at Lithia Springs Park.
