Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:32 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a drunken person at Village Drive and Meadow Lane. The person could not be located.
6:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with abdominal pain in the 1300 block of Sparta Plaza.
6:46 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with back pain at a hotel in the 3200 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
8:40 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Amethyst Drive. A driver reportedly had stopped and was looking down toward the Strawberry Park schools. The driver was looking for their dog, which had followed students to the school.
9:05 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 61900 block of Routt County Road 129.
9:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who said he was jumped by unknown males and beat up Monday night on Yampa Street. Police were going to investigate the report.
11:23 a.m. Officers were called to a report of cars blocking a parking garage entrance in the first block of Fifth Street.
12:07 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment at a property management company in the 900 block of Pine Grove Circle. A person from a collection agency called and was trying to contact a former employee, and the person calling was threatening to interrupt telephone service at the company. Later, the company reported a “robo dialer” was calling the company and jamming up phone lines.
5:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was loitering for the past three or four days at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. The man was seen sleeping in common areas of the hotel, and he claimed he had been staying at the hotel with a registered guest. The man became argumentative when he was asked to leave by security. Police determined he was transient and told him not to come back to the hotel.
6:12 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a theft from hot springs in the 44200 block of C.R. 36.
7:11 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a burglary in the 43300 block of C.R. 36.
9:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who went to their car in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive and found a purse. The purse was returned to the owner, and there was nothing missing.
10:30 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious car in the 1400 block of Secluded Court. A couple was inside the car.
10:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two men fighting behind a bar in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. One of the men involved in the fight was gone when officers arrived. The other man had some facial injuries but did not want to be taken to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
