Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:32 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a possible prowler in the 36800 block of Tree Haus Drive. Someone heard noise on their deck. It was suspected the noises came from wildlife and possibly a bear.
3:39 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man at a bus stop after the buses had stopped running. He was given a ride home.
8:34 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who attempted to file someone else’s tax returns.
10:01 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a Steamboat Springs High School student who was being harassed by a former girlfriend.
10:41 a.m. Officers were called to a report of electronics stolen from a hotel room in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court.
11:58 a.m. Officers were called to a report of trespassing in the 500 block of Rollingstone Drive.
1:08 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car going slowly at Hilltop Parkway and South Lincoln Avenue. The car could not be located.
1:45 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who fell victim to a telephone phishing scam. The person was out about $10,000.
2 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a barrel leaking a substance in the 1600 block of Shield Drive. It was cleaned up.
2:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person using another person’s ski pass at Steamboat Ski Area.
3:27 p.m. Officers contacted a cyclist who rolled through a stop sign, and the individual was given a warning.
3:56 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that passed a school bus stop sign in the 300 block of River Road.
6:11 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 400 block of South Poplar Street.
6:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a car that hit another car before leaving a parking garage on Mount Werner Circle. The 55-year-old female driver was found sitting in her car at home. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
8:41 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man staggering around at Chinook Lane and Sparta Plaza.
8:48 p.m. Deputies were called to a report of a fight in the 200 block of East Main Street in Oak Creek.
9:41 p.m. Hayden Police Department officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 200 block of East Jefferson Avenue. A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony second-degree burglary and violation of bond conditions. Police suspected he went into a home and stole pills and several other items, including a phone charger, flashlight, several lighters and a bag of croutons.
10:05 p.m. Officers stopped a car in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue. A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of underage possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and felony possession of a controlled substance, which was suspected of being MDMA.
10:47 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a loud party with between 30 and 40 people in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. A warning was given.
11:47 p.m. Officers contacted people who were possibly fighting at the Wildhorse Marketplace bus stop. They were told to calm down.
11:57 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two men possibly fighting in the 700 block of Walton Pond Circle. They could not be located.
