Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:11 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of downed power lines in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.
8:14 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a camera found at Emerald Park.
8:40 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with abdominal pain in the 1300 block of Indian Trails.
8:42 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bear in a dumpster in the 1500 block of Natches Road. The bear was scared away with beanbag rounds. The dumpster was bear proof.
9:25 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a panhandler at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue.
9:47 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 1100 block of Hilltop Parkway. A person allowed a friend to borrow a handgun, and the friend refused to return it.
10:09 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a burglary in the 1300 block of Harwig Circle. A woman had allowed an acquaintance to couch surf on her couch. The woman kicked out the acquaintance, and the acquaintance returned and stole items.
12:32 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a careless driver at Lincoln Avenue and 13th Street.
12:36 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a woman who said an unknown car was parked in her driveway overnight in the 100 block of Spruce Street.
1:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a suspicious person in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A transient man with mental health issues was kicked out of a grocery store and was loitering in the area.
2:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the first block of Anglers Drive. It was a dispute between two neighbors.
2:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person bitten by a dog in the 2000 block of Elk River Road.
5:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of gas stolen from a station in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. The person returned and paid.
5:36 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to investigate smoke at Hilltop Parkway and Falling Water Lane.
10:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive who received threatening text messages from an unknown person.
