Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:58 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a group of people who left a bar without paying their tab in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. They returned and paid.
8:18 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a dispute over property between an ex-wife and ex-husband in the 400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
8:20 a.m. A person came to the police department and reported a suspicious incident. A stranger came up to a 15-year-old girl and made sexual remarks.
9:59 a.m. Officers were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 800 block of Mill Run Court who had recently suffered a stroke. The person no longer lived there.

12:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver coming toward Steamboat Springs on U.S. Highway 40. The driver was weaving and could not be located.
12:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person in the 400 block of Alpine Court who had their tax returns fraudulently filed.
3:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a roof membrane damaged in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.
3:49 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance at a gas station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue. Two people got into an argument over who could use a gas pump. It turned into a fist fight, and the people drove away before officers arrived.
6:10 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person aggressively panhandling at the Central Park Plaza bus stop. The person was told to move along.
6:19 p.m. Officers were called to help a person who accidentally broke the axle on the merry-go-round at Emerald Park. The person was concerned someone would use it. A note was put on the merry-go-round stating it was out of service.
8:42 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a drunken man refusing to leave a restaurant in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. He was taken to detox.
9:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft at a hotel in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. A man left the restaurant without paying and was detained by security. The man paid and was told to never return.
9:26 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a transient man sleeping in a bathroom in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue. The man could not be located.
