Police, fire and ambulance calls

12:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers contacted a man sleeping in his car at West Lincoln Park and gave him a ride home.

8:24 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who wanted to complain about a recreational vehicle parked in front of his or her home in the 1500 block of Meadow Lane. The vehicle was parked legally.

8:29 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a car window that had been shattered in the 500 block of Anglers Drive.

10:09 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to check on the welfare of a person in the 32200 block of Routt County Road 37 near Hayden. He or she was fine.

10:13 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a locked bicycle that had been stolen from the 100 block of Willett Heights Trail. The bike was valued at $3,000.

11:11 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a noninjury crash in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:29 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a rollover crash near mile marker 2 on C.R. 129. The driver reportedly fell asleep and was not hurt.

1:41 p.m. Officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of a multi-vehicle crash in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue. A Steamboat man driving a Jeep Liberty reported having a medical issue that caused him to drive into oncoming traffic. A 60-year-old German man riding a motorcycle died.

3:39 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver who backed into a car in the 1500 block of Shadow Run Court.

5:06 p.m. Officers were called to a report of $20 in gas stolen from a station in the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

5:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a former employee yelling at a business owner in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

6:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a possible drunken driver at Mount Werner Circle and Après Ski Way. The car was seen speeding, and it fishtailed. The driver could not be found.

7:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike stolen at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. It later was found.

7:37 p.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who fell in the 100 block of North Sharp Avenue.

7:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of cars blocking a driveway in the 1500 block of Mustang Run.

9:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person shooting off fireworks near Blue Sage Drive. The person could not be found.

9:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person shooting off fireworks near Hilltop Parkway. A person was contacted and given a verbal warning.

10:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a very drunken woman at a bar in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. She was taken to detox.

11:02 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wallet found in the 1800 block of Ski Time Square Drive. It was returned to its owner.
