Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:20 a.m. Oak Creek Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person who was bleeding in the 100 block of West Main Street.
7:58 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of moose at Fish Creek Falls Road and Harwig Circle. The person who called was concerned, because people were gathering in the area.
10:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a crash at Walton Creek Road and South Lincoln Avenue.
12:40 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a bus driver who heard possible gunshots in the Burgess Creek Road area. Police found a person had been working on an old car, and it backfired.
1:09 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was found.
1:07 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a sick person in the 1400 block of Mark Twain Lane.
1:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who was bit by a cat at the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.
3:52 p.m. Officers were called to a report of kids smoking marijuana at the downtown community garden. Police did not find anyone smoking marijuana.
4:42 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help with a crash in the 1700 block of Lincoln Avenue.
4:59 p.m. Officers were called to a report of fraud involving an internet sale at a camera shop in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza.
7:04 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man bitten by an acquaintance’s dog in the 800 block of Weiss Circle. The man had facial injuries, and a citation was issued.
7:28 p.m. Officers were called to a report of two bikes stolen in the 600 block of Marketplace Plaza. They were last seen Oct. 11.
8:50 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who was bitten on the lip by a dog he had been fostering in the 200 block of Caribou Lane.
10:12 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who thought a neighbor’s home had been burglarized in the 1700 block of Steamboat Boulevard. Nothing appeared to be missing.
10:34 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a sick person in the first block of Jackpine Court.
