Police, fire and ambulance calls
12:52 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a report of a noise complaint in the 200 block of Lincoln Street in Yampa. A person called to report loud music, and the individual was told to turn it down.
7:24 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to a report of an elevator emergency in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. A man was stuck in the elevator at Old Town Hot Springs. The door was broken, and an elevator repairman was called.
8:22 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a theft in the 2000 block of Curve Plaza. It is under investigation.
8:46 a.m. Deputies were called to a report of criminal mischief in the 54000 block of Routt County Road 129. Tires on a car reportedly were slashed.
12:09 p.m. Deputies were called to a suspicious incident in the 32000 block of Highlands Drive. There was a report of a possible break-in.
1:18 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. A mirror on a parked car was damaged.
2:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a hit-and-run at Eighth and Pine streets. A third party reported the incident, but no damage was found on either car. It was determined to be unfounded.
3:34 p.m. Officers were called to a report of threats in the 300 block of South Lincoln Avenue. A person who purchased an item said it didn’t work and stopped payment.
4:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a theft in the 1200 block of Lincoln Avenue. A woman called to report her bike was stolen, but it was found shortly after nearby. Officers think the bike was taken and moved.
4:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash at Third Street and Lincoln Avenue.
4:55 p.m. Officers were called to perform a smoke investigation in the 2800 block of Riverside Plaza. Coffee was being roasted in the area.
5:16 p.m. Deputies were called to perform a welfare check for Eagle County in the 38000 block of Mud Alley in Milner.
5:32 p.m. Officers were called to perform a welfare check in the 700 block of Tamarack Drive. The person was contacted, and she was fine.
8:23 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a two-car, noninjury crash in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue.
