Police, fire and ambulance calls
2:59 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of a suspicious incident in the 1700 block of Highland Way. It looked like someone was trying to get into a car. It was a bear that had gotten into several cars by opening the doors. The bear could not be located.
6:31 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help a person with abdominal pain at Colorado Mountain College.
1:32 p.m. West Routt Fire Protection District firefighters were called to help a person with a medical issue at the post office.
1:53 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help after a piece of construction equipment hit a gas line in the 700 block of Anglers Court.
5:44 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a cell phone stolen from a school bus.
8:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of harassment in the 1000 block of Mountain Village Circle.
10:53 p.m. Officers investigated an abandoned vehicle in the 3800 block of Whistler Road. It was towed.
11:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who skipped out on a cab fare in the 200 block of Willet Court.
