Police, fire and ambulance calls

2:33 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers were called to a report of an accident at the Steamboat Springs Community Center. A juvenile female apparently had a medical issue or fell asleep and went off the road, hitting several trees. She was not injured.

6:10 a.m. Officers were called to a report of graffiti on a dumpster in the 1000 block of Yampa Street. It was similar to other recent graffiti.



7:01 a.m. Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue firefighters were called to help with a gas leak in the 3100 block of Ingles Lane.

10:43 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a kid’s bike stolen from the 1100 block of Soda Ridge Way.



11 a.m. Officers were called to a report of a bike found in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

11:41 a.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person with chest pain in the 700 block of Princeton Avenue.

12:17 p.m. Officers were called to a report of juveniles hanging out in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. They were fine.

12:19 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a person who lost more than $1,000 in a phone lottery scam.

12:24 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a boy who got his foot stuck in his bike in the 800 block of Aspen Street. The boy was not hurt.

12:38 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help a person having a seizure in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

2:20 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a broken car window. It could not be located.

3:05 p.m. Steamboat firefighters were called to help an unconscious person at Haymaker Golf Course.

4:55 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a disturbance on the Yampa River Core Trail near Third Street and Lincoln Avenue. Two women had been fighting over money. One of the women was issued a summons for harassment.

5:05 p.m. Officers were called to a report of juveniles smoking marijuana in a car at Pine Grove Road and South Lincoln Avenue. They could not be located.

5:33 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a dumpster not latched at Colorado Mountain College.

6:13 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a man who fell in a bathroom and hit his head in the 700 block of Yampa Street. He did not want medical treatment.

7:54 p.m. Officers were called to a report of trespassing in the 2700 block of Cross Timbers Trail. Men kept coming to a woman’s residence after she asked them to leave. They were given a warning.

8:11 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a wheelchair found near the entrance to Dream Island Plaza. Police were trying to find the owner.

9:25 p.m. Officers were called to a report of a driver following a woman in a parking lot and yelling at her in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. The driver could not be found.
